Founded in 1977, the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering first offered an Undergraduate degree program only. In 1981, the Master program was established, and the Doctoral program in 1984, completely setuping a senior system for computer science educati on and research. Each year the department admits about 60 undergraduates, 80 students to the master program and 16 students to the Doctoral program. |
